On 02.10.2016, the ‘Swachchhata Se Divyata Tak’ programme was inaugurated at Hari Om Mandir, Lalbagh, Lucknow in the presence of State President and an invited Dignitary as per schedule. After inauguration, the cleaning work inside the Mandir was conducted by Sai devotees.Our State President also participated in the cleaning activity. Roads & Public toilet in front of the Mandir were cleaned (duration 2 hours). Cleaning program was also undertaken at Tehetana Village (SSSVIP). The people of the Village and Sevadals from Lucknow participated in the program(duration 2 hours). The Bal Vikas Gurus conducted various activities i.e. drawing competition on cleanliness, discussion on cleanliness etc. among the balvikas children and spread the awareness about cleanliness (Venue-Sri Sathya Sai School & Tehetana Village) . Some of the children in the Village were found not brushing their teeth and not having bath daily therefore toothpastes, tooth brushes, combs, bathing soaps etc were distributed to them and they promised to use the same daily. A total of 3 ladies,12 youth ladies and 90 children participated in this cleanliness awareness program .
