Aum Sairam, SSSSO Distt Panchkula, Haryana & Chd initiated the Swachhata se Divyata Tak program with special awareness programs in 2 Schools adopted under Vidya Jyoti scheme. First program was held in Govt Primary School, Village Thapli. In this school our Bal Vikas gurus involved the children in value based games and spread awareness about Cleanliness. In addition they also stressed the need of internal cleanliness and laid importance on chanting Gayatri Mantra in addition to food prayers before eating. The program concluded with the distribution of Cloth Bags which were prepared by our district’s Mahila wing and distributed among the children and school Teachers. This special gesture and innovative thinking of our Mahila wing was appreciated by one and all. And finally as a parting gift all the children of the school were distributed new clothes for the oncoming festival days of Dussehra and Diwali. Second program in Village Jallah was also held on the same lines and here too the Bal Vikas gurus spread awareness about Swachhata and encouraged children to move towards Divyata. The entire program was very well received with children participating in the value based games targeting towards cleanliness. This program ended with distribution of pastries as Prasadam.
