16 Oct 2016, being “Sharad Poornima” was very important day for Sri Satya Sai Sewa Sangathan, Kanpur. This day Sangathan looked like Sangathan because around 70 devotees from Kanpur joined together for cleaning drive at Holy River Ganga’s Ghat near Kanpur named as Chandanghat, Jajmau (Kanpur) under the mission “SWACHTA SE DIVYATA TAK”. The programme started with lightening of lamp and the famous song “Vaishnav Jan to tene Kahiye”was sung by Bal Vikas Students. Later the groups of devotees on their own were formed for the cleaning drive at Chandanghat. Some involved in cleaning some in cleaning the weeds some in picking up the waste like polythene and some in their disposal. There after Mangal Aarti and Snacks & Tea was served.
