Aum Shri Sai Ram A Step to Saying a Huge No to PlasticOn Monday 14/10/2019(five days back) Ashramshala and Vedhe Village which is 120 km from Borivali was visited. In Ashramshala where 615 number of students are studying, both teachers and students were taught how to make paper bags for which we had already taken the required material from Borivali. The representatives from Adivasi Village Vedhe were also called and they were also explained how to make paper bags. 152 paper bags were made. Thereafter we brought the paper bags to the market which is held once a week on the roadside about one kilometre from the Vedhe Village. The shopkeepers open their shops on the ground for one day only in a week. We told the shopkeepers “please give us your stock of plastic bags and in return we will give you paper bags free of cost.” It was told to them that we will burn the plastic bags  in their presence. They gave the bundle of Plastic Bags to us and in return we gave them paper bags free of cost. Meanwhile the Plastic Bags were Burnt in their presence.
